GAS is mainly known for it’s relations with Strep throat. Strep throat is a bacterial infection that makes your throat feel sand-like and scratchy. If It’s not treated right away, it can lead to complications like rheumatic fever and kidney inflammations. Strep Throat is mainly common in children, but anyone can be affected. This bacterial infection is highly contagious and spreads rapidly through air and human contact.
