For compacting metal chips, mechanical presses and water driven or as we called hydraulics are utilized. The density of the compacted metals for this situation is around 60% – 70 % on the density of the metal. In this work the outcome of the research about briquetting of metal chips are explained, by utilizing another innovation for briquetting. The utilized chips are by copper, aluminum, Armco iron, steel, cast iron, and brass metal. It has been discovered that in a controlled contact the density of the briquettes can be increments up to 30%; at a similar contact, the energy the density of the briquettes increments with expanding of the contact speed; the understanding of the rehashed contact prompts to the reduction of chips density, which can be clarified by circulation of elastic waves in the briquette.
